Re: Limb pocket fittment
from the picture the gap is much bigger on the right if you look at it.im not gonna go through the process of stringing and bolting it up if its an issue.from the tip to bolt mounting hole looks o.k. i even checked the riser to see if it was a milling issue. just never seen a gap this big in the lim...

Limb pocket fittment
never came across this. just went to mount up a set of micro limbs and one of the limbs is shorter from the limb mounting hole to the end of the pocket. i checked with my other Micro and Matrix and those limbs just about go to the end of the limb pocket. these are not the newer thicker limbs. not go...

Re: BD 330 vs micros??
hunting a few seasons with a gen 1 Micro . when i pull out the Matrix 405 it feels like a long limb model of yester year 8) i even chopped an inch off each stock on both and wanting an even smaller Micro.cocking a Micro is no fun but for hunting its not like your doing it a bunch. ive had no issues ...

Re: TRIGGER HOUSING QUESTION
what model? could be just one of the housing flat head allen screws. cant say ive ever seen one come loose because it lives inside the rail. dont think it would hurt to snug it up but id call Excalibur to confirm.

Re: So who has an Axe to grind?
gonna pass.my 335-s shoot 340+s fps and are lighter and shorter. not sure why this model would even exist. only guess its to get the last minute or newbie hunters that are going to take to the field because of the low price point.

look at the bright side.at least you got glue. most of my quills have spit the inserts. id run a tap or get them replaced. dont like to put any chemicals near carbon or glue.

Re: New micro 355 cheek piece issue
my Gen 1 micro had clicks and pops to it when i put my cheek on it.tried tightening and lubing the screw. best thing i did was to take it off. it doesnt really do much and isint adjustable anyway. why screw on dead weight. looks nice though.

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?
i can feel the weight up front soive taken them off my Matrix crossbows in the past all but my 405.without them noise is louder and shock seams a little more but for hunting id rather have a lighter bow. having the reds does make brace adjustment easier but i just mark the side of the rail with a sh...

Re: Time for a new bow...
why limit to those 2 models.id go shoot a few at your local dealer. just me but i dont like linkage designs unless there compounds. its just a feel thing. doubt there would be long term issues with trigger bars and linkage in the Excals.i do prefer the Micro series over the Matrix strictly for hunti...

Re: 150 grain Boltcutters on Zombie Slayers for bear?
