I use crossbow specific when I use Swhackers so it doesn't damage the brass inserts and shafts when opening. Another option is to use a dremel tool and grind a little off the back of the wing blades on original heads but I don't like the thought of weakening them.

Don I think requiring half up front is more than reasonable. I don't know of any other custom service that anyone can get without at least covering the vendors expenses before work begins.
