As others have stated that set up is definitely good for the yardage you are talking get about (35 yds). The arrows I shot the previous season were 382 gns. I am currently shooting a combo of zombies, 92gr brass inserts, and slick trick magnum's with great results (1" at 50 yards) and two deer down with them this year. But after SEW's review I am going to do a build and try the FOC's next year. Good luck

I also purchased a m380 this year and I was a little surprised as to how loud it was. But as everyone has stated, I have taken 2 deer and my daughter 1 with it this year. All were taken cleanly with out any notable string jump out to 30 yards (Farthest shot so far). Congrats on the purchase and enjoy.
