I vote with GaryL, for the little you'd save on a used rig, Besides, it's always nice when you're the one to "de-flower" your Excalibur.

With the exception of traditional archers, two-bladed broadheads aren't popular nowadays.

Personally, I use 3 and 4 bladed fixed blade broadheads. I've had great results with both the Wasp Hammer SST and the Slick Tricks. They have 3 and 4 bladed heads respectively.

A company called Hunter's View makes them. BJ of "Archery Plus" sells them. If you PM him, he can give you more info.

Mooser, Excalibur fletches the Goldtip Laser IIs with 5" vanes, and they shoot great. However, I've heard that the GoldTips that BJ sells are fletched with 4" duravanes, and have a 4% offset. With the shorter vanes, and the way they're fletched, they shoot even better. If you PM BJ, he can...

A direct quote from someone who knows, Bill owner/maker of Excalibur Crossbow. You don't have to unstring your crossbow every time you use it, but it will appreciate having its limbs relaxed at least between seasons when you aren't using it. The #1 concern is that you NEVER leave the string on if yo...

Re: To All Far Right Republicans..

Looks like I may have used too many words in my diatribe containing more than two syllables. Next time I'll retrict my political observations to terms which weak minds can comprehend. Carl, I see that you're learning. Personally, I believe in the KISS "school of thought", as such I...

You're absolutely correct. The Ruger Mark II target pistol, and the Ruger 10/22.

A company in Conn. makes a special barrel for the 10/22 that fires a bolt/arrow at speeds of 600+ fps.

Here's a quiz for RL & Ruger, or anyone who wishes to partake.

Speaking of Rugers, there are two, which hold ten of the same, one is long, the other short. With an alteration, one can even propel a bolt.

What are they?
