I use small 7" piece of brass rod and never had one I could not get out. I have read here that some use drill bit others use section of rifle cleaning rod. Drill bit can split shaft as it mushrooms the brass insert trying to get it out .. Shop uses a rod that just fits inside and taps with ham...

It's simple... acetone. Put the insert end down into a jar just deep enough to cover the insert inside of the shaft. Acetone breaks down the adhesive and the insert comes out. I was at bow shop and saw them using solder iron to remove inserts .. They sell this tool also.. So took my arrow to lowes to see if I could get screw with threads like field point... I found screw I think it was like8/ 32number on pack and about inch and half long.. Cut head off screw and took sol...

When I got my first set of arrows fir my micro 335
goldtip they did it ..Terrible....
Think they were .005 not sure ...
You could see it ....
Went to zombies .003 no problem....
It was spine....

:) One of the main reasons why I like climbing stands. Over the years I have killed more bucks the first time hunting a spot than anything else. I also like to be able to react to sign immediately. A great stand location is worth it’s weight in gold, hope you get a great spot Joe! Publicland in arch...

Got big logging chain and leaving my Summit Climber on tree...Take seat home with me..
In gun season using ladder stand with Summit top only carry in and out daily ...
This way when cold n o climbing tree etc just put top on tree ...
