Re: Grim Reaper Fatal Steel
I killed a 10 pt and a 133 lbs doe with the Fatal steel in 2014 from my compound bow.My opinion is they are junk like the other Reaper mechanical heads, but they did their job.Lots of better options for mechs then the Reapers....jmo....

Re: Excalibur firebolts
I use a torch and heat up a field point i have tightened in my vice.I then carefully screw on to field point and slowly twist out the insert straight and very carefully .I have been doing it this way for over a decade.I just did it today for some zombie slayers......Good luck

Re: Rage vs. Boltcutters
Oh,i get it.Fixed blades or mechs will and can fail,i just believe it's usually the hunter who made it fail.Lots of guys who are very tech savvy and tune and tinker with equipment, but the majority....well,they are the "just screw em on n' go" types....

Re: Rage vs. Boltcutters
People blaming a broadhead for bad shots is a very common excuse,it does not matter which head, fixed or mechanical. If your setup is not set up and dialed in.That's the hunter, not the equipment. Some people should not be in the woods,no matter what they have on tip of arrow.

Re: Rage vs. Boltcutters
Blaming the broadhead is a crutch, and an excuse for a bad shot.I hear it everyday, all day from some who should not be in the woods. With any weapon,or any broadhead.

The rifle slobs are what irritate me,they shoot anything that is brown and then cry and whine that there are no big bucks....slob hunters to a "t"...Orange army slobs are horrible whitetail managers. You are your own game manager.....

Re: Doe bleats, grunt calls & rattling?
I carry a MAD Growler every sit for Whitetail from Oct 1-Dec 31 for years,I have grunted in 7 bucks and killed 5 of them with my compound bow since 2010.I wouldn't deer hunt without it.
