Re: ground pounders

I use a ground blind , I put 2 up for turkey season in April and leave them there till December.
Never had a problem with deer coming in close to them.

I just came back from Caballas in Dundee Mi .
That had a large selection of scopes in their bargan cave at very reasonable pricing. Including Lupold scopes.

Re: Arrow recovery at high speeds hunting?

Hunting from the ground , you will be very lucky to find your arrow no matter if its lighted or glows in the dark, they do not glow in the day lite very well.
If you do find it ,it will probably be cracked or broken.
That's what I find using Matrix 380.

Re: Scope help ( part 2 )

Not sure on the Vixen, but on most , you can loosen the screw that the scope mount is attached to and swing it up a bit.
The ones above the safety latch.
Not sure on the name of the parts.
Be sure to put lock tight on the screw after sow it stays that way.

Re: Arhg! Striving for perfection...

I just shoot Diablo stock arrows and Boltcutter broad heads , I have no idea what they weigh. A had a couple shoot 2 inches off consistently and I scrapped them. But that was out of about 20 arrows. Still can't shoot at the same spot twice without ruining an arrow. Never knew what all the fuss was a...

You have every thing you need to kill anything in North America.
Just do a little practicing till you are confident.
And don't shoot at the same spot twice, it gets expensive.
