Re: Lighted Nocks or Not?
Big John put some in some arrows he made for my kid, in normal hunting conditions they are pretty cool, but worth their weight in gold when running video, as mentioned. I don't use them, but my son does, and they are pretty impressive, especially when done in slow motion. What else is cool, got to 3...

Re: How a weekend is supposed to be
................. as far as just ignoring what I don't agree with, you have to understand it is not that easy. As an example, you didn't agree with me, yet you took the time to write a fairly elaborate response, when you could have used your own advice and "avoid (ignore)" it, you read it...

Re: How a weekend is supposed to be
Is this all about "Joe"? Joe is anyone who is a new member that doesn't show up just to blow sunshine up the arse of Excalibur. What about all the rest of the posts, birthdays, prayer requests.. They should be sorted through accordingly as well. It would be really nice to see the crossbow...

Re: reticles in the rain
You can also use a product called dielectric grease. Can be found most any hardware store. Clear and has same properties as nyogel. Great for all automotive and electrical applications. Careful. It is "almost the same". Nyogel has ensured me they will look after me if something goes wrong...

Re: reticles in the rain
I use a product called "nyogel", a clear gel that I bought originally for the bezel and end caps of high end flashlights. It makes the movement smooth as silk, retains conductivity, and adds to the weatherproof aspect. I use it on my scope caps now too, makes a world of a difference.

Re: hunting use for drones?
Ironically. if anyone was set against technology, they wouldn't be able to post. The rest, hypocrites. Fun to watch the last generation spin in their seats. Hunting with a drone is not cool, and in my opinion, not ethical, by my personal standards. but I don't stomp my boots when someone does what t...

Re: hunting use for drones?
Wildcat you kind of said it . Whatever is legal in your area . There is a long list of what one hunter may think is okay and the other has a furled brow . Some examples . Hunting over bait versus food plot . Using dogs to push . Using traditional bows . Just to say you are doing it without sufficie...

Re: hunting use for drones?
Switch a couple words around, this sounds exactly like every anti argument I have heard, or read. It's ok for someone to use every bit of technology available to them, but if someone else uses something they don't have, it calls for an immediate ban, they are not worthy of the sport. BTW, driving a ...

Re: hunting use for drones?
There is way too much chest thumping and finger pointing in this thread. How about we let the law figure out what's legal, and keep your personal ethics to yourself and don t damn anyone for having a different opinion Never argued with you, never will. It's a respect thing. However, I am going to r...

Never shot any of his strings, watched him build one once though. Mike is a good man, without doubt.

Re: Turkey arrows for micro 335
For turkeys I use the same as I do for deer, simply because it works. I do slap a Zwickey Grappler on it, it won't prevent a pass through, but makes arrow recovery a bit easier.
