Re: View from the stand.
Hey Grassy, you gotta get an IWOM XT for days like today. I used mine last Saturday morning when it was single digits in south jersey and I was snug as a bug. Only had on a long sleeve set of thermals under it. Good luck out there this afternoon! I'm living vicariously through you right now because ...

Re: ***WARNING***
I can tell you the buck I shot the other day at almost 30yds didn't hear the bow before he was bleeding profusely. So I wouldn't consider it loud either. However, if you do some tests and find it to be substantially quieter, I'd look into it. Good luck.

Re: Advice needed!!100 grain broadhead on a stock 335 quill?
I will tell you that I was in the same boat and I couldn't get 100's to fly good at all. 125's were good and obviously so were the 150's. Just something about the 100's didn't work for me. Others on here I know have cut them down shorter and they work. Hope this helps.

Congratulations NJLB, you Jersey boys are apparently on the whack em and stack em program! Between you and my fratello Anthony and his boys, you're all doing your part to thin the whitetail numbers. Great shooting!    Way to go Jersey Mike....Nice picture and way to christen t...

Re: micro drew first blood
Very nice! how many yards away was the shot and what do your arrows weigh? norm Shot him at 27 yards. I didn't realize how much he actually was quartering towards me until I went to inspect the arrow. I watched the ignite bury in what I thought was the heart(which it did cut the heart) but it exite...

micro drew first blood
This morning was the first morning in the woods with the micro. I've had it for almost a month but had to wait until winter bow to take her out. About 7:50 this morning I had three bucks come through and this younger 7pt gave me a quartering towards shot. Sent the quill tipped with a 125gr NAP cross...

Re: Ghillie suits
Mine isn't a total ghillie suit but it's close and I love it. I've had it for at least six years. It's the Cabela's Ghil-leaf jacket and pants. Both with scentlok. It's great because I can use it for almost all of deer season, then pull the scentlok liner out of both and just use the outer leaf suit...

Re: finnaly got my first crossbow need some help
Dry fires happen. Just make sure your limbs haven't gotten any splinters. Check with cotton balls. But I'm guessing since you shot it 50+ more times after that with no issues, you're probably fine. As for lube and wax, get both. Any rail lube should work and string wax the same. Another major for ne...

Re: What Crossbow to buy?
I'm fairly new to crossbows but I have seen the 405 and held it. For me, it's friggin huge. I ended up buying the micro four the exact opposite reason. However a man of your stature would probably fare well with it. My buddy is your size and he said my micro felt to small for him. I'd say take a loo...

Re: TOP MOUNTED QUIVERS
I haven't had my micro long but I'll toss in my .02$. I don't have my quiver attached to my bow to begin with. Just added weight that I don't need and it comes off when I get in the tree anyway so no real point. If I were to use a quiver mount though, I'd for sure get a munch mount as top mounted ma...

Re: lighted nocks for quills?
I actually picked up a package of the ignitors. Had them in my quills in about ten minutes. Extremely easy to turn off and the best part is that if the light burns out or breaks, you can just grab new build at any fishing store because the bulbs look exactly like the bobber lights made by Thill. I t...
