Re: correct distance between bumper and string at rest
I'm in the same boat as Booner with my 350LE. ... the string is stretching on me alot so I've been adjusting it everytime it creeps back to touching the reds... leave it at 3/4 cuz I bet it will be touching reds soon enough...

Re: ATTN: wmu87 hunters
Absolutely horrible. I feel for the sportsmen in this area. I heard grimsby is next to try and implement no hunting. For people who live around this area it will affect you as well by pushing more hunters into areas nearby. I sincerely hope it doesn't go through for the sake of the hunters and sport...

Re: Excellent chair for turkey hunting
I've got one as well and use it for turkey and coyotes. Love the chair it's great. Some guys mentioned they don't like that it's reclined back- that's actually what I like about it I use my knee as a rest for the gun or bow and when the yote or turkey pops up you've got your weapon of choice up and ...

Re: Lighted Nock Comparison
Ok good to know. It seems like such a simple concept but I didn't know that. This forum rocks, thx again - I just got some new zombie slayers with lumenocks so will make sure I put them in correctly.W.Miguire wrote:you got it . glad to help.

Re: Lighted Nock Comparison
Ok so let me get this straight - the two wires on my lumenock I should go and check are horizontal to my rail so they do not rub on anything as the arrow is released?

Re: The Fall Bear Camp
Very cool looking camp.
Can you talk a little bit more about the set up required before the hunt. How long before the hunt do you put out your barrels, etc.

Re: Best Upgrade
I picked up a 350 LE and thought I'd upgrade glass right away...till I mounted the dead zone and was immediately impressed. Now how much better a crossbones is at last light that I haven't compared yet....
How ever if I had to choose between trigger and glass I'm upgrading glass instead.
