Quiver mounting types?
Sorry if this is an old topic! I've been lurking around here for awhile and notice some members have a top mount quiver system. Is there a noticeable weight difference on those mounts verses the side mount? I use a sling because we tend to cover alot of ground while moose hunting and carrying any so...

Re: Rust on the Excal
Not a big deal, clean and oil them upright away. I have a few scope ring screws that have become more permanate do to my neglect. My bow lives a tough life on the front of my atv.

Re: Ameristep Doghouse blind question
Have had one for 2 years and like it. Same as the rest of the posts 2 people, crossbow, is tight but can be done. Practice taking it down before going into the field it took me a few tries before I got it ( could be just me which is a good possibility )

Re: Sept. Anyone Ready
I'm ready, going moose hunting in 2 1/2 weeks but it's 90 degrees right now. I hope it cools off very soon. Can't moose hunt with these temps.

Re: Moose Hunt
No problem, That combo will get the job done. We have taken them with all sorts of broadhead/weight combos. My bud took a 50" bull last year with an equinox with 2219 aluminums 150gr. bolt cutters. He was getting around 298 and 304 fps out of the chrony. His was the only arrow/bolt combo that o...

Re: New string review.
Nice numbers ironically I was out doing a simular test today. I shoot the exo200 with a 370gr set up but I just tested my new setup at 420gr . I averaged 318 fps with the 370 gr. and 307 fps with the 420gr. I found little to no difference between Excal. FFF and the standard string. I will be hunting...

Re: Xbow clean up AND I did my trigger too..
Sorry if I offended any one, that was not my intention. By spraying down the safety and letting run out the front you can see the dirt coming out. As for getting it completely clean NO. But I use my equipment and if it can't hold up to the rigors I put it through I don't want it. My wolverine ,exoce...

Re: Xbow clean up AND I did my trigger too..
I found no need to even take the things apart. I Spray synthetic lube in mine untill it is running out the other end crud and all. Been doing it for years on my exo 200 trigger is smooth as glass. Mine gets full of water, mud and anything else it encounters on the front of my quad moose hunting in no...
