i had my vortex dipped(metal parts were anodized) black, the year before they came out with eclipse, my bow came out looking very good but the dipping on the non metal parts is not as durable as i hoped it wud be

i read that this is caused by the propellant :?: and spraying it on a rag first rather then directly on your bow solves this issue,i have never had an issue and have been using it for years

i use it on the rail to make it super slick for the string to glide acrossed. some here say its not needed and i am not saying it is needed. but in my opinion ,less friction between rail and string can't be a bad thing. and it does not attract dirt and grime like wax and oily products. i sray it on ...

gorilla glue has worked very well for me and i have done this without the acetone cleaning step, using gold tips and brass inserts
