Ken, i have many videos of bucks tending scrapes that I've doctored and not doctored. Either way, they REALLY get animated when working the licking branch(es), but when I doctor them up with Rack Rub, they spend more time and seem to lose focus on anything else for that time. I lean mine against my climbing tree, stirrup down, then tie around the top of the stock, through the hand hole and back up. It's placed far enough around the tree that IF I ever did fall AND have a safety strap/harness fail, I wouldn't land on it.
