I didn't have much interest in mechanicals as I figured it was just one more thing to go wrong. Problem was I couldn't get the W.A.S.P. broadheads to group the way I wanted them to out to 40 yards. So I looked into different types of broadheads and I'm going to give the Spitfire a try. They are very...

I've got one and love it. It has the same disadvantages as any compound as far as maintaining it goes but I haven't had any problems yet. My only problem was it destroyed servings very quickly but Boo is making me a string for it and I'm sure that will solve my problem. The limbs are Fred Bear and t...

I don't know the weight of the Thunder Bolt but if Excalibur were going to change over to the ThunderBolt why slap an Easton name on it? Wouldn't they just work out a deal with Beman instead of Easton?

Stock is ambidextrous so you have no problem there. I don't think Excalibur sells direct.

Lebarons in Markham are selling them for $45.00 for six in an Excalibur package. Bass Pro still had the GT's if anyone is interested. The guy at Lebarons didn't realize that they had changed as you can't tell unless you open the package.

I just picked up a 6 pack of the Easton Firebolts. Put them on the scale and the lighest one came in a 283.9gr and the heaviest one came in at 285.6gr. The last set of GT laser II I picked up the lightest one was 241gr and the heaviest was 270gr. So far so good for quality control. I also put them t...

I have both a Phoenix and a Maxpoint/Paradox. I shoot the Phoenix most of the time but for hunting I like the Maxpoint as I find it easier to shoot and handle in my blind. I like the balance of the bow and you can change the string in the field if you have to. Big Bear I think posted a way to do it ...
