Re: Vortex paint coming off?

My vortex had no camo in the groove after the 2nd or 3rd time I uncocked it with the rope cocking aid, it happens from friction of the string sliding though.

Re: tis the season... rubs and scrapes

All the bucks have been out of velvet for about 2ish weeks here in Nova Scotia, I have 2 decent bucks coming but always late. I hope they are less nocturnal once the season hits.

Arrow/Broadhead Question

A while back I bought some custom arrows for my vortex, they are gold tip laser II's and have brass front inserts. Originally I was planning to use the Boltcutters (150gr) that came with my excal right stuff package, however I found some Slick Trick 100gr really cheap and picked them up. Should I be...

Re: Scent Lock Clothing ??

I about died laughing and walked far away... no he didn't get anything or see anything... This is supporting evide...

Re: Game Cameras, what do you use? do you like it?

I use the Moultrie d40 and I just bought a Moultrie d55 IR to set up my brother-in-law's spot while he is in Afghanistan (hoping he'll be back with some of our season left) and I am pleased with both of them. I have been running the D40 for 2 or 3 seasons and it takes 6 dcells but it lasts a very lo...

O/T: Rifle Stock Damage

I bought a Browning A-Bolt - Medallion in .270 this summer, it's used and due to an unfortunate chain of events where on a damp day hunting with his (previous owner) hunting knife forgotten in his rear pocket the butt of his knife met the stock of his gun resulting in about 25 or so little picks in ...

Re: Back In Town

Welcome back, I too have been away for some time and recently started to catch up on things here. After season's close 09 I started working unimaginable OT in preparation for my new son. He was born on Jan 7th 2010 and needless to say have been busy since. Things are starting to slow down and I've b...
