Re: Shot a doe this morning! GRAPHIC PICS!
Thats just sick! Way to go. Been waitin for an outcome of that bad looking head. Just showed the pic to a dyed in the wool muzzy co worker. He also detests crossbows and says Excals are ancient and too loud to hunt with. He whined that half the meat was wasted and that is stupid to have a ...

The Magnus Stingers and Buzzcuts are now avail in 150gr. I think I saw Steel force has some heavier grains also.

Re: Which Excal Model starts yer Season ?
M330 with Hawke xb30 compact until I get a deer, then a TP Titan will get a go at it. I will alternate between the two a few times to see which one I really like better. The TP is a good bow, just a heavy rascal. Great as a backup, just in case.

Our deepest sympathy from our family to yours. We lost my wife's father to cancer eight years ago at 57yo. Very hard to watch any person have to endure this. They are done suffering and in a much better place now. May they rest in peace.

Re: 75 Days Countin Down
Yep, screw all the early season bugs during the heat. I killed a doe a couple years ago on Sept 15, and in the 10 min I waited to go get her, she was covered solid in black files and mosquitoes!!! It was sick. I couldn't get it home fast enough to gut and skin her out, then get her on ice. Told myse...

M330 is a keeper
I got to take a few shots with my new to me 330. All I can say is wow! Previous owner already had it sighted in, so all I did was reassemble it after the ride here and shot it. The Hawke xb30 was right on the money at the 20-40yds I shot from. It sure is light and balanced compared to my 10pt, which...

Re: Cocking the Matrix
I just got an M330 also, and find the cocking effort a lot more than I am used to with my 10pt. It is 180lb draw, and I regularly hand cock it. It has the accu draw and that is the cats meow though. I can only imagine what the M405 would be like after shooting it for a while!

Re: Jumped on the bandwagon.
Well I really wasn't looking for this as I have a similar speed 10pt x-bow already. But I have been intrigued by the simplicity, consistent accuracy, and very respectable following all you good folks have for the Excaliburs. This has always made me want to check them out and come on board. Now I hav...

Jumped on the bandwagon.
I was wanting a speed bow, 380 or 405, but couldn't find a good deal like I was hoping. So I kind of gave up for a while, and now fell into a big pile of Matrix 330! Got her from a really nice guy that had it posted here and elsewhere. It is a Wyvern Special, with the Hawke XB30 compact scope and ri...

Re: The first deer this year will get this prize!
I just saw them in a Bass Pro or Cabelas catalogue and was wondering how the will perform. Can't wait to see results of that bad boy. The FOC has an awesome following and reputation so these may be an alternative. We shall see!

Re: Opinions on which Matrix for me
Great opinions fellas. I got derailed with pneumonia for a few weeks now and missed all turkey season and desire to do anything. Starting to come around finally and feel a lot better. Need to build up a few bucks lost for time off before I can get back in the game. Always something!
