Has anybody added Sims type limbsavers on thier crossbows? I'm thinking of adding some to mine but wonder if they can take the shock of a 175lb limb compared to a regular compound bow?

I 'm a member over there and put my post in. You will never win over the hysterical and ignorant people and AT has more simple minded fanboys than any other site on the net. I use both compound and crossbow as well as firearms and don't plan on dropping any of them.

Well so far my Phoenix has the Boo string but by next season I will definitely also have an STS. I have used them on all my last 1/2 dzn compound bows and see no reason on why "not" to use a device like that. Limb protection alone is worth the extra weight.

Remington 870's are lifetime investments and won't let you down. Unless you're a bit off the beam like me and sell em faster than it takes for the paperwork to come in LoL ..........

When you connect to a USB port Vista should recognize the device and activate the windows photo downloader. After that you will need to process them through something like photoshop. I hate Vista. Sweet bow though !!

When all is said and done, I think the members here will know where to source quality strings and quiver mounts. Even if the product is similar the person behind it will be my deciding factor.
