Went to my hunting land and saw the logging crew cutting out the biggest trees on the land. There leaving the tops of the trees where they fall. This really messed up the deer trails. I guess I’ll have to wait for snow to see the new runways. The tree tops should make for good browsing for the deer...

My neighbors young son got his first deer today, a big button buck weighing 135 pounds dressed. He couldn’t wait to tell me!

135lb button buck wow that is huge that is probably on the high side of average for an adult deer in my area.
