The only drawback is that they tend to turn foam targets into mini pool noodles.

I was actually thinking about that, I guess a target wouldn't last very long

What's another 35.00 when you have spent almost 1000.00 on a bow? A stringer is an essential tool to have to set the brace height and or change a string if your in a pinch while hunting.

Just my 2 cents...[/quote]

Re: Predator Hunting Questions

Hello! These are some great questions I'd like to hear the answer to as well as I'm also looking to get into some predator hunting and I believe their is no shortage of yotes out there. Specialized over on the cbn forum has a lot of info, but I've noticed a few ontarians here on this forum that have...

Re: bows and elephants

I don't think there's anything wrong with the older bows, many big game species were taken with them. The newer ones can give an advantage in the sense that you are getting a faster bow in a smaller package. Speed gets you a couple of things: first off the bolt gets to the target quicker which gives...

Re: New lineup looks great!

I wonder if you would actually feel a difference? It's really just a 2.7% increase.... I know ten pounds is ten pounds but when you compair it to the 270lbs you're already pulling back, then add in the aid you get from the pullies on your stringing aid I'm not sure it'd be substantial. I will agree ...

New lineup looks great!

I think the new bulldog is my dream bow! And I'm loving the micro 355! I just don't really get the advantage of the micro 315? It's only 10lbs less draw weight than the 335, and 20lbs less than the 355? That's 20lbs for 40fps..... Anyways it's exciting

That looks awesome! Question is what class of weapon would it fall under? Don't think many places are gonna let you use it during archery season...

Re: Crossbow vs.Compound Bow.

I debated getting a compound bow before buying my ibex but I guess my choice came down to budget and simplicity. I'm 6'4" big frame, most compounds don't adjust to the length I need and the ones that do were a little more expensive than I could afford, plus I would need to buy a decent release ...

I agree, I have started avoiding the posts he's involved in. Seems like he is sticking to the posts that members are reacting to. I think if members avoid him he'll lose interest
