Double serving and wax
Anyone try to double serve their string? I see Scorpyd owners are doing this on some of their high poundage bows with good success. Seems that might help with some of the serving wear issues on the Micros. Also, how is it that the compound crossbow guys seem to wax the hell outta their strings but u...

Re: Need some help
Here's a shot of the string on the bow after 75 shots. Look familiar to anyone? The fraying started at 58 shots, each subsequent shot pulls the tufts up more and more. Once a strand of the serving material gets worn down enough to show fraying like this I feel like its a risky deal to keep shooting ...

Re: Need some help
Its certainly not over-cocking. all the wear is on the latch side. I've already had to de-burr and polish the brace marks. They were not helping the situation. Danny MIller said to shoot the heck out of the bow with no lube at all and let the serving polish the surfaces. Not too sure that is what I'...

Need some help
I feel like a broken record, but my darn latches are still cutting my serving up. My latest shot count before strands start pulling is 64-68 shots. This is after three trigger assemblies and a recent latch polishing (latches look like they are chrome now). I getting to the point where I'm ready to s...

Re: whats the procedure for...
I'm sure I'm not the only Micro owner with this problem. Here's what I just did to try and fix it. As I shoot I'll keep track and post up the long term results, but the brace mark is certainly not as rough as it was and I shot 13 more shots after the following procedure, and it seems to have helped....

Fixing on yer sharp azz brace line that cuts the nice new VM served string yer shootin. Polished my latches real goodly so they treat the VM string real nice like. Now that I can shoot more than 50 times before the latches cut the serving to bits, the brace line groove is tearing up my nice string p...

Re: Which Slick Trick to use?
I reckon the key to good blood trails is to hit them low n have entry n exit. You hit'em high it takes jus abit fer the chest cavity to fill up wid blood. By then they are usually on the ground n the blood be spillin out! This is very true. I've smacked a few high lung type with big expandables, an...

Re: crossbow choice or necessity ?
Choice here. I actually used to hate crossbows... One day last summer I finally cracked. after the umpteenth time of one of the various V bows I have owned coming out of time/tune. Drop-away not working, strings creeping, crappy "pro shop" service etc... I decided if I had to tinker anymor...

Re: most accurate arrow & broadhead
I shoot factory arras an bolt cutters in my Micro 335. Same hole accuracy at 20 yards. BH fly with FP so close at least to 30 yards. I don mess with the scope. But I'm not too much of an accuracy junky though. All my huntin is done as close as possible. Longest archery shot so far is 25 yards an I l...

New Micro Riser
I see there seems to be a bit of a re-designed riser geometry on the new Micros. Is this in fact true? Is this verifiable by the factory or side by side comparisons/measurements? Was this done to alleviate the supposed Micro 335 limb issues? Just getting a point of reference for my 2015 Micro. No li...

I shoot stock quills with the factory bolt cutters. I have no problems with them. Shoot the same hole at 20 yards.

Re: The Close Shot
You should try shooting a target that close just to see where your arrow hits. I typically just settle the crosshairs and squeeze. I shot one this year from about 10yards from base of tree 20 ft up. arrow hit where I was aiming, but I knew it was gonna do that based off some close practice. Regards, B
