I also use Fenix. Have several, and I recently sent one in for repair, almost 2 years old....They covered it under warranty!!

Re: Ground Blinds
Thanks, I appreciate it. I see the advantage to putting it up before you try it in the field. I am sure none of them are completely waterproof, but I am getting older and really like all the comforts I can get!

Ground Blinds
I am looking to get me a nice ground blind. Never bought one, always build one. Kinda getting a little to old for cutting and brushing constantly. I was trying to figure out which one is easiest to set up and has either straps or case for carrying. I hunt public land and the places I go are generall...

Re: The perfect crossbow scope reticle
Just my 2 cents... 37 years ago my Dad bought me my 1st deer rifle, a 30-30 and it came with a Tasco 4x scope. I have killed MANY deer with this rifle. I know they have much better scopes on the market, but it was what I learned to use and overcame all of its short comings. I think this can be appli...

I have one. Bought it two years ago. It works great! Every pocket and hunting knife I own will shave. Once I showed my wife how easy it is, she is a believer.

Re: What's a shooter to you?
For me a shooter depends on your needs. I know it is a touchy subject, but I like to hunt large framed older animals. I think if you see a deer that you think is worthy of taking then take it. Just remember they do not get to be trophy size if you don't allow them to grow. I know in my area, there a...

Re: 380 or 400
Thanks for all the input. I guess I thought I would buy one and go to shooting and hunting with it. I believe I have a lot to learn, but I am sure it will be a good ride.

Re: 380 or 400
Thanks, I appreciate that. I have read reviews until my eyes went blurry. I suppose you are right, just have to put them in my hands and see what feels right.
Again, thanks a heap.
