I think everyone should take one season and try to kill a buck from the ground with their bow or xbow. Nothing like playing the wind learning to conceal yourself and taking a mature buck eye to eye from 15 yards. Those are some of the most exciting hunts of my life. Good Luck to all this season. Virginia Night Hunting Chair preview under construction

Building a night hunting rig for fox and bobcats in VA we are not allowed to hunt from our trucks like other states. Now all I have to disconnect and I'm legal and I can pull my stand with my four wheeler. Just need to add seats, railing and paint job http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f69/vapredhunt...

That sucks, I know what you mean, people around here practice the if its brown it's down mentality. In Maryland were I'm from we had 100's of acres to hunt and we only shot 8 point or better wider then the ears. I tried to get the guys that hunt the farms I hunt down here to do the same they just la...

2213 Aluminum Arrows ?

I have 20 new 2213 xx75 easton superlite arrows. I took them to the local bow shop to have them cut down to bolts, buy the inserts and flat nocks so I could refletch them. When I walked in I explained to the archery guy what I wanted to do he said they were to light for my crossbow. I told him the E...

Ok, I was not bad mouthing Excalibur. But since the topic came up, I can say that the paint chipping has been a concern. I had planned to contact Excalibur after this season anyway. This will be the third season with my bow, and the warranty be ending soon. I had no doubt that Excalibur would fully ...

My Exocet has some paint chipping also, they are just small chips for now I was thinking about contacting Excalibur about it. I was worried it might lead to a bigger problem later. :? Are they stress cracks ? I've noticed some small bumps under the paint as if the limb was not dusted off good before...

Hey got one more question how is this point of aim going to be affected when I start shooting from my tree stand I wonder. I missed a deer with my red dot at 10 yards   because of the angle I was shooting I was 20 feet up and he was almost under me.

Just finished sighting in, all I can say it's much better then the red dot night and day. I started at 10 and 20 then it took a little while to get 50 yard mark adjusted but now all the points are right on. According to the scope I'm shooting at about 310fps. I wonder how close that is I'm shooting ...

Excalibur Vari Zone Scope

My new scope finally got here today. Last season my Truglo red dot got killed when my bow tipped over after I leaned it up against a tree. The scope landed on a rock, right on the red dot adjustment dial and busted it, go figure. I was not to upset did'nt like it all that much and it was the day bef...
