I was lucky and wasn't at full draw when it slipped. It still came up to about chin hieght, and if I hadn't felt it starting to slip, I may not have gotten out of the way.

My first climber was an API. I got to the point that I couldn't sit forI 2 hours without my back hurting. I switched to a Summit Razor. It has the drop down bar in the front, so I can sit/stand climb, then drop the bar out of the way. Bought it when I was a compound bow user. Not really needed with ...

When I was shooting a compound, I have always practiced shooting straight down. Now I can't remember doing it with the X-bow. Will have to remember too, now.........RR
