Awesome sax. Thanks for the idea. I can't wait to try it out. I bet my girl friend gets a real kick out of it.

Congrats on the double too. That was a very impressive shot and a cool looking buck.

I have a friend that is the nicest guy in the world who got into a bad relationship with a realy crazy girl just after highschool. She got pregnant and he vowed to stay by her side and support h...

Sorry guys but I just went back to the page I left a link for and noticed the status section on the right. It apears that they are no longer moving forward with any of the things I mentioned. I don't know if that means they won't happen or if maybe they will be discussed and voted on at a later date.

Some big changes for VA hunters!!!

If you dont get the VDGIF monthly news letter, you should. It is very interesting and has some good information. The highlights for me this month are that they just obtained 300 acres in Nokesville that they will be turning into a wildlife management area. It will probably have some good hunting for...

I never did get that third buck Jay. I didn't think I would, but of my two teammates, One (uncle fester) had a nice buck he entered as a doe and the other (nighttrain) had not gotten anything and was not returning any messages so I figured we were pretty much out of the running because the season wa...

Looks like fun guys. How do you clean/cook them? I was always told that they had too many bones to bother trying to eat.

C.F. Thats what I am getting at. The base that I hunt is seeing an all time low in deer numbers so you couldn't pay me to shoot a doe right now. But 1 hour south in the richmond area or 20 mins north in Fairfax is completely diferent and needs as many does harvested as possible. Thats why you can't ...

Hey guys, I love the way it is turning out. I thought from the beginning that a Canadian team or maybe a team of guys from one of the big buck states would definately win. But to my surprise Florida may take it all. It would be awsome to see you win. I never in a million years would have guessed tha...

I pretty much like the rules from last season. I wasn't too enthused about the three deer limit because I don't realy need three and I only planned to take bucks. The place I hunt made it so we could only take two bucks this year instead of the three that the state allows us because they have demoli...

I had one as a pet too when I was young. He got into everything. My dad would come home from work to find the spam cabinets open and stuff all over the floor. He was great.

I think I would have traped and relocated it. If that didn't work, I would take him out.

All the advice is good. There are just a couple things I would add. You hit on a good point in your last post. Multiple calls are good to have because sometimes the tom just won't like a certain call so switching to a different sound can do the trick. A decoy or a few will greatly improve your chanc...
