Not having anything there does not seem to make a difference.

If you have the patience Ajax is the best. If you use alcohol use 99%. Acetone should be applied on a rag but be quick because it will eventually break down the bond between the carbon fibers if let on too long or too much used on the rag.

Any of the "instant" glues like Goat Tough can be used on all parts of the arrow. But stick with gels (like Goat Tough).

I thought I should add that if you really understood deer completely hunting would be too easy and this would all get way too boring. It would be called killing not hunting at that point.

If they were predictable they wouldn't have survived so well and they'd all be killed off by now. I don't believe that deer care that much about human urine. I baited the day before yesterday and had a wiz about 15 yards away and covered the spot with snow. Today I saw the tracks on top of the spot ...

If you don't have dovetails then tell Danny and he'll send a bracket with a screw-on base.

My Apple saw works at 5,000 rpm and does a fine job of cutting both kinds of shafts. I didn't want the higher speed saw because it scares me! One hint in using an arrow saw. When you finish your cut rotate the shaft a few turns while maintaining pressure away from the blade before pulling the shaft ...

No Danny's mount goes on to the front sight dovetail of the riser. If you like it you should use crazy glue or loctite in the dovetail so it won't work loose.

Don't mean to hijack the thread(but I suppose that's what I'm actually doing), Boo, have you tried the BCY I believe it's called "Bear Paw" serving jig? Or perhaps someone else? It's looks like it might work pretty good. Thanks Joe Yes I did and the serving does not like to day in the eye...
