I have a cheap appliance cart on which I put a wider axle and larger tires. I works great for hauling in gear a long way and hauling out deer too! If I'm not using my climber I am able to attach my pack to my hang on stand along with my climbing sticks and haul everything on my back but I don't have...

Like Dereck I also went with the 50 cent solution and used pipe insulation and camo tape. Works great! TC

Re: post

I don't know about the good part, but Lee was the one at the hunt show that said scent-lok gives him that 10 extra seconds to get a shot, just another crook paying the TV hunters to LIE. Tinks was sued yrs ago, buck and doe lure, yep from rabbits, never used it either, save your money folks buy som...

Notice most of the respondants are our friends from the US and mostly using Cuddebacks? I think there are a couple of reasons for this. One, Canadians (in general) are cheap especially when it comes to hunting and fishing stuff and secondly, things just cost more up here. The Cuddebacks and Bushnell...

Great post Lightfoot and so true! As for your bladetip design I remember something similar showing up in the late 70s I believe. It was a fairly long broadhead with 2 spiral blades that literally cut a "core" out of the crtitter. I never actually saw one in a store. I think I still have th...

Re: Another Way To Set Up Your Scope

After misjudging the yardage a couple of times last year on deer (note to self mark trees with your rangefinder BEHIND you as well!) and using the wrong crosshairs on my vari-zone scope with the expected poor results I decided to play a little tonight. Taking a que from my compound shooting days I ...

Or you can do what I do and fletch your bolts with feathers from wild turkeys you harvested. They're the best looking of them all. I also use a hip quiver and have had no problems at all with the durability of my feather fletching. Yes you do have to replace the odd one but the same goes for vanes. TC

My son bought a set the last time they were on sale. Actually quite good cameras. the pictures were clear and sharp. His only beef is the battery life in the cold. I'm sure with some research there is a way around this. All the other cameras use batteries as well. TC

If you decide to break away from the "great minds" and go spend the big whopping $1, yes, an adapter exists. :D Great minds, more like cheap minds... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v51/Pydpiper/P8132706.jpg I disagree. I think great AND cheap minds think alike. I also spent the ...

I've hunted a couple of their properties for 5 years now and I've been pretty happy having killed a few deer on them. I drive an hour to get there and for me I think it's worth it. I just haven't found a place for deer locally were I can I can sit on stand and see some deer pretty much every time I ...
