Headlamps and Spotlight

I'm looking for a good quality headlamp. I have the 5 LED clip on one and it's alright but last year I had a situation where I tried to haul a deer out at night in an unfamiliar area and the clip light just didn't cut it. So I need one that will light up the woods a bit. I know there are lots out th...

I have used Gold Tips with my previous compound bow and now with my Exocet with absolutely no problems. I have broken them with my compound after missing my 3-d targets and having them hit a rock or something. By the way when I used to shoot aluminums with my compound I had numerous shafts break, bo...

Are these similar to the Lone Wolf sticks? I have a set of Gorilla sticks which were discontinued after a couple of years (patent issue with Lone Wolf I believe) and they work great. Since I couldn't get them anymore I paid the big bucks and got the Lone Wolf ones as well. I use them with just the o...

Excalibur From Chair Blind?

I am thinking of getting a chair blind (double not single) and I wondered if any one has one and if it works with the Excalibur. TC

My broadhead groups improved considerably with the brass inserts. That is my fixed blade Muzzy 100s. I didn't notice any difference with target points. TC

They make a one seater and two seater. I'll be getting a two seater for turkey for sure. Providing there is enough forward room for my Exocet. TC

I would just shoot 3 shot groups :D Sorry I couldn't help myself. I was having the same problem and my solution was to add brass inserts (front). I have Gold Tip arrows. Now my broadheads fly great. TC

I used Muzzy 100s for years with my compound and I have great faith in them. When I got my Exocet I could get them to group well. Same with the Wasps. I installed brass inserts and now my Muzzys fly great. I used Wasp Jakhammer mechanicals for turkey and they fly great as well. I double banded them ...

bstout is right on but I think the speed loss is negligible. I use the Varizone scope and when sighted in the graduations all work right on and I have the dial set for about 330 fps. I bought the inserts from a local retailer and installed them myself. TC

I agree with bstout about lining up the fletching and broadheads. I have the Exocet200 and I couldn't get the broadheads to group. I talked to the boss at Excalibur and he recommended a brass insert (front). I did that and now I'm scared to try a group, I can't afford to replace my bolts. I'm using ...

I screw a aluminum ferrule into the insert and heat that to remove one or to tune up a bad insert. I do this even with epoxy glued inserts. If you do this and your bolts still don't fly right try replacing the aluminum inserts with brass ones. I couldn't believe the difference. This , by the way, wa...
