Re: New Xbows, BHs, scopes, etc

I worked with a guy and we called him the ultimate consumer ! He tried every fad there was and would get all the best gear. Then 6 months to a year later he was on to something else and sold his stuff at a good price. I tried to talk him into hunting figuring I would be in line for some top gear in ...

Re: mechanical broad heads

I always shot the nap thunderheads for years. They were very accurate but I didn't like the small blood trails. Since I have been shooting these rages it looks like a slasher movie even on horizontal shots where it took many yards before getting good blood with these after about 10-20 yards blood li...

Re: mechanical broad heads

I got some of the rages a couple years ago and everything I have shot with them has had a large entry and exit hole. If you are getting a small entry with a mech I'd switch.

Re: Ontario hunting Reports ** failure to submit**

Ya its a great system I always say I see way more deer and turkeys than I do in the hope that they will increase the season lol Don't go :eusa-whistle: on me as I'm kidding. I see Montana just went to printing your tags etc from home and carrying it on your phone instead of kill tags in the mail. Lo...

Re: What's the next hunt for 2020?

I've never gotten into spring turkey because I've always been limited to hunting on public land. Its one of the only types of hunting where you camo yourself up as best you can, then go out into the woods and try to imitate the species that fellow hunters are out there trying to get a shot at. Coup...

Re: Trying something new this spring

If you are going to go with a scope I agree that the pro diamond is a good choice used one for years but put it away when I used a buddies gun with a dot on it and liked it much better.

Re: Trying something new this spring

I have used a bead, a scope and a reflex site . Bead is ok with an open pattern or if you are sitting in a blind with a decoy and can take your time and move alot same for scope. But if you are moving around and setting up at odd location the birds can come from weird angles and be moving. The shot ...

. Turkeys are like pests in a few places that I hunt deer so no real challenge and no interest for me.
Really well give the coordinates for this spring and I'll be on the way ! I love to chase pests in the spring as long as they gobble lol
