The saftey is no problem for me I use my index finger, Bend your wrist down slighty and raise your index finger to push the safty off, try this it's alot easier for me. The one thing I don't like about the thumbhole stocks is because of the angle of the grip my index finger rubs on the trigger gaurd...

Thanks, bdog, I am going to get cases for the phoenix and my wifes vixen to keep the dust off. I need to take the pads off my phoenix. Our winters last 5 months so I wont be shooting. The older I get the more I hate cold weather. Thanks, Ron

Shaftthrower, Your insert for your nock weighs 25gr. cut them down to 5gr. or get a lighter nock this will help alot. You have 235gr up front and your feathers only weigh 8.4 gr......Unless you are using real heavy glue your FOC should be fine. Ron
