NuFletch lighted nocks
Recently bought from lighted nocks from NuFletch; when I got them in I put them on my BEE. I bent one and called NuFletch, they sent me out several replacements no charge. I guy I spoke with stated to take a small amount of string wax and coat the plastic insert to help with removal after the shot. ...

Trophy Rocks
When do you plan on putting minerals such as Trophy Rocks out? The bucks should start losing their horns in our area. I was thinking about going out next Monday and starting the process of keeping minerals available until next fall. Thanks in advance, Don

Re: Lock and load
My hunt starts when I get in the woods with both my crossbow and rifle. I do however remove the bullet from the chamber or bolt from the crossbow when ascending and descending in my stand. The ride to my spot the gun and bow is unloaded as I have been stopped by conservation agents and the first thi...

Re: Opinions favorite deer cart
I like to use my Cabelas aluminum deer cart; it is light, don't rust, and wide enough not to tip over when going over uneven ground. I bought an ATV adapter last year from Amazon that allows me to attach it to my hitch on the ATV. No more lifting the deer up on the back rack so I can get to camp. I ...

Charger EXT Crank
Will the Charger EXT Crank work on the Matrix crossbows? I have a M405 and was wondering if it comes with an adapter kit for the type of stock I have on my 405. Thanks in advance Don.

Re: Matrix Mega 405 shooters, a question!
When I first got my 405 I ordered 22 inch FMJ with factory vanes, brass insert, and 150 grain broad-head. I shot bolt-cutters and Dirt-Naps- the bolt cutters were more accurate than the Dirt Naps. This set up was very heavy and I thought it would help prevent limb issues. I was wrong; after having t...

Re: Another look at 100 yard shooting
When I shot a compound 30-40 yards was my max. With my excal I would take a 50 yard shot if the conditions were right allowing for an ethical kill. I look at all the advertising that shows a xbow grouping at 100 yards on the range as purely marketing purposes versus hunting application. I have not s...

Re: Is anyone out there using WOOD ARROWS ?
I shoot carbon bolts out of my M405. I would be afraid to try a wooden arrow not matter how dense; but if they work for your setup that's cool. I was just given 2 dozen Ben Pearson arrows with broadheads along with a wooden recurve. Plan to hang it on the wall or sell it, but not use it to hunt with.

Re: Most Sought After '18
I believe the Assassin will be the bow sought after in the excal line in 2018. The price is higher than the rest of the line offered this year but that reflects the technology put in it. It appeals to a broad target audience so I see it pulling people from the "cam" market to the recurve. ...

Re: Laser Ranging Sight
That would be a great addition to any excal, in the form of a scope. Give it a few years and they will have it for us. Hopefully the price will come down too. If I was still shooting my SwitchBackXT I might be tempted to buy one.

I have wondered that myself. But as long as it is warranted for life like the rest of the Excalibur ' s is what counts.

Re: The new Excalibur crank
What sells me is that it is silent. I like my C2 crank but the noise deters me from using it in the stand. I will be adding this to my "must buy" list for next year.

Re: Any New Gear??
Thinking off selling my compound bow to buy a another excal to back my 405 up. Planning to buy another ladder stand- Rivers Edge 21 footer. Also looking to find something to help me put ladder stands up. I bought a device that attaches to the tree last year; but the spikes would not hold the bottom ...

Re: How many days have you bow hunted for Deer this season?
This year I took off the last week of October and stayed until the 2nd week of November. I did not realize in Missouri you can only camp in one place for two weeks straight then you have to move 5 miles. I bow hunted ten days out of the two weeks before the gun hunters arrived and took 3 does and 1 ...
