Don't put it in a broadcast type feeder. It will coagulate and plug up the feeder.

Re: Width??? Has it been a problem?

My Exomax works well in my Ameristep Doghouse blind understanding that there are limitations on some shots. It's a crossbow and not a rifle so I have worked around it. I've never had a problem in my climbing tree stand yet. I'm used to it now so it's a non-issue for me. I also like the dependability...

Re: Heated Insoles

Hotronics makes one of best heated insoles out there. Thermacell units not even close to these. I was looking for a suitable heated insole that wasn't so expensive. The Warmspace work well for me at a much lower cost. Granted they may not be as good as Hotronics in the long run but so far have work...

Re: Heated Insoles

Been using the heated insoles in my Ground Blind at the 3.5 acre place. Temps in the low 20's and my feet stay warm for the 6 hours I'm out there. I use three 18650 cells connected in parallel at about 2500 maH for each cell. After 6 hours on time the insoles are still warm. A good substitute for th...

Re: video taping hunts..

I shot my Bobcat video with a 2 year old Canon Vixa HF R40. http://excaliburcrossbow.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=64778 When you touch the subject on the LCD screen the camera will follow it and keep it in focus. As with all the hand held video cameras the video is grainy in low light. I use a...

For my application that would be too much waste. These deer haven't got into the corn yet so I'm afraid most of it would ruin before it was eaten.

Heated Insoles

The Warmspace heated insoles work well for me. It's important that people understand it will not warm your feet up in extreme cold like it would while sitting in your recliner at home. What it will do is take the bite out of the cold and leave you with comfortable feet instead of numb toes. https://...

Little Brother's Buck

This buck has been visiting my sister's place in southern Oklahoma on a frequent basis. My little brother is after him with his Excalibur Grizzly crossbow. http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h144/ko4nrbs/IMG_0568_zpsuxyowect.jpg It's a recent pic he just didn't bother to set the date on the camera. Re: Deer Feeder Question

I've only had it out for a couple of days so nowhere long enough to judge it's effectiveness yet. It does work well. I've watched it from my Ground Blind and it broadcasts corn in a perfect pattern for this small area. http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h144/ko4nrbs/IMG_0564_zpsdh3yccis.jpg I will be...

Re: Rethinking my shot??

It's over 80 yards to the next guy's property so if I do my part with a good Double Lung shot I should be ok. The woods are so thick he would never see me anyway.

Re: Deer Feeder Question

I use a Moultrie bucket feeder but had to replace the plastic bucket with a metal one when the squirrels chewed into it. I only run it in the morning for about 12 seconds about 15 minutes after sunup Dang Squirrels!! I do like squirrel and dumplings though!! I hung a galvanized trash can lid over t...

Re: Deer Feeder Question

I bought this one and got it for a little over $43.00 including tax in the store. Has good reviews. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Moultrie-All ... er/5933978 It was very easy to Program and install. I set it up for feeding twice a day at 6 sec. for each feeding. It's just the right size for this small ...
