i have a pair of military extreme cold weather boots. also known as mickey mouse boots. mine are at least 20 years old. comfortable, waterproof, extremely warm, very durable, and they are cheap. my feet have never ever gotten cold or wet in them. only one pair of regular socks. they run big though....

One thing I'm guilty of is having the rope around the trigger unit rather than the groove in the stock. Puts a pretty good cut in the rope.

Had that happen today --- was dialing in some new broadheads and was distracted by somebody walking up to me and asking a question ---
