I tried a rubberized grip tape but it did not stick well to the finish.
It stuck well to a shotgun I had done as well with a wood stock.

Re: one question
you would not be able to get it tight enough if left on the bow.
needs to be under a lot of tension to do it properly
even if you took the riser off rail you would be disappointed with the results

I have since traded or sold all registered firearms so there would be no record of the guns I now own in any system.

Re: Ground Blind vs Ghillie Suit?
I have both and I am leaning more to the gillie suit.
Never use my blind for deer as I can not leave it out there without risk of it growing legs.
For Turkey's a blind is great but if I have to relocate quickly they are a pain in the rear.
I think my blind may go up for sale after this spring

Re: show us your hunting kinfe
Picked these up from Cabelas Canada.
I have been thru many knives and these are about the best I have seen they hold an edge well and fit my hand perfectly.

Re: Is this acceptable?
Once stock off you will see two screws holding the trigger assembly in check those.
If tight then you will have to take it to the dealer or send it to Danny to get checked out.

Check and see if the trigger unit is secured properly.

Re: DIY Quiver attached to back pack
You could probably attach you hip quiver to the outside with straps.
Save you buying something else.
But if your like me I always like to buy more stuff
