Re: Limb 'strap' question
Thanks Guys, makes sense. There was some hard particle between the limb and frame on top of the plastic plate (not rubber on mine) on my Micro directly below the strap that actually did score the limb and raise a splinter. I found it when I was switching my limbs around. Of course Excalibur is repla...

Re: 20in. arrows in Micro
I've shot 22" SpynalTapp arrows from my Micro 355 and they were very accurate. Too much stuck out beyond the stirrup for me to hunt with. I will probably cut them to 16" and put a 110 grain insert in if I sell the compound they were made for.

Re: How Many Steps
I don't use scents or anything to cover my scent other normal woodsmanship and milk weed down to show where my scent is going. I had an old friend who always smoked a good cigar in the woods and watched his downwind side. He said he learned it from a bear guide who claimed a cigar was as good as a '...

Limb 'strap' question
Noticed the topic of limb straps in another thread and didn't want to hijack it so... I have a Micro 355 and a BD400 and previously had a different Micro 355 and all have different limb strap configurations. One has a bare metal strap that doesn't touch the limb, one has a strap with rubber pad unde...

Re: Suppressor 400 speed
If it really shoots that fast it has my interest. Not buying the first season until it has proven itself to be durable or if it comes with a set of spare limbs. Also would not be leaving al l the 'sound deadening' junk on it. Gotta be an extra pound or more on the little bow that I don't need. I do ...

Re: 380 bulldog or 400 which one
I have a BD400 and a Micro 355. Never had a 380 but I will say that the BD400 and Micro don't feel SO different from each other so I would think that the 2 bulldogs would not feel much different at all. I like my BD400 a lot for it's consistent accuracy and ease of shooting well. Not so easy to cock...

Re: WHY IS IT.......?
Definitely rings a bell with me. I'm retired and have some health issues so it can be pretty easy to shut off my alarm and go back to sleep. I do that on rare occasions when I am sicker than heck but then get up mad at myself and go out late. Ended up only missing a handful of days this past season ...

Re: Iced up rail
I was hunting in the freezing rain Sunday and wondering about the ice myself. Must have had enough lube on the rail because only a few droplets formed and they brushed off with no effort. I did rub down my arrows with 'arrow release' fluid when I got home JIC.

Re: Crossbow prices
Makes the used crossbow market look really good doesn't it? I think that I bought my first and last new crossbow 5 years ago but can still get plenty of 'new to me' bows and not lose money if I am patient. I

Re: Ticks on deer
I had my first tick in years just 2 weeks ago when it was 12 degrees F outside. They seem to get a lot more aggressive when it's colder or maybe they see the temp difference between environment and 'prey' better than when it's warm. I do spray down everything with Permythrin but the bug was transfer...

Re: Is anyone shooting over factory 'spec' with their Micro 355?
What I am getting from this is that you put a Flemish string on in place of a factory EL and you think your speed went up because you had to adjust the scope speed ring? I doubt that the Flemish is shooting faster but your point of impact did and you adjusted for old POI @ 50yds. Different strings ...

Is anyone shooting over factory 'spec' with their Micro 355?
I have a 2018 Micro 355 and just yesterday put a Flemish Dan Miller string on it that was reserved by him this week. The bow was zeroed in with an ABB EL string on it and gave up approx 340 fps on the XB30 scope with factory arrows weighing 370ish. I put the newly served string on and with the same ...
