Re: deer vocals
I always thought that we had silent deer. Saturday before last I heard a grunt for the first time. I waited a minute and give a doe grunt back, then minute or so I hear a deep grunt! Oh yeah, its fixin' to be on!!!

Re: Matrix 405, All set ...
Y'all not still wanting to shoot me, huh? :D I've been bowed up at work and couldn't join the party. Big, Thank you for diffusing the tension and turning this thread around to a positive direction. You hit the nail on the head, my friend. Clover, we are good, huh? The Barnett comment was a kick in t...

Re: Matrix 405, All set ...
I guess you have spare parts for everything you own huh? Forget reliability, go for redundancy! Forget about the cost whether financial or your personal time...just get more parts! Hah, good solution! So if these threads have gotten so redundant, then perhaps that indicates there is indeed a proble...

Re: Matrix 405, All set ...
Blah, blah, blah is right. Get some spare limbs for crying out loud! These threads have got so redundant, I will not look at another one. This one included. And by the way, I count on my 405 to do the job the most EVERY time I take it out, not when/if it it breaks. Any time you push the envelope, ch...

Re: Hunting from a Caldwell Chair Pod, anybody
Let us know how you like the chair pod. I have been eyeballin them myself. The standard field pod could be a bit wider at the feet for better stability. As long as I don't bump it, it's good. I learned that the hard way.

Re: Game Cameras
I looked at Steve's web site and he has got some good prices and free shipping to Canada and US. Since he has been so helpful with my BF8 issue, I am going to buy the Iron 9 from him. I am hoping that when I take the BF8 to the woods, I can get a more dense background. Hopefully the black flash will...

Re: Game Cameras
I did not mean to bash the SpyPoint brand at all. There are too many good reviews out there. This particular model BF-8 is the only SpyPoint that I have had any dealings with. Time gets away from me, I'm guessing I've had it a couple of years or so. As my luck would have it, I cleared off all of my ...

Re: Started Keeping a Little black Book!
Good idea! I have been copying some of the more technical threads (how to post pics, arra/insert/broad head/F.O.C., etc.) They are scattered everywhere! I need to put them in a note book. Thanks for the idea.

Re: Game Cameras
The SPYPOINT black flash is designed to reflect off a back ground object, there by illuminating your target object. ( ie. large tree behind deer ). As Maple mentioned Spypoint work great and they take clear colour pics by day and clear night black and white pics and video. Great battery life. New 2...
