90 gr and 100 gr Muzzy 4 Blade ( 1" cut )

I found some of these in some old archery supplys in my basement and shot them this morning at 30 yds. They have a 1 inch cut so I thought they might fly well . I was not disappointed ! I was shooting GT 2's , 110 brass insert and 2" Blazers fletched in bolt jig . I screwed a 90 gr on 6 differn...

Re: new hunter questions

Checkout Cabelas's knee high uninsulated rubber boots for early season hunting . I like the air-bob soles model if there still being produced , for colder weather Muck boots are hard to beat . I Guide for a living and Ive used these for years . Hope this helps .

I recently put together some BEE and 4 out of 6 were fine but the other 2 never really satisfied me . I read the other day where someone said to square the face of th...

Re: Group Consistency With Phoenix

Just got back inside after shooting for a few hours and think I can get by with my GT 2's this year for hunting . I shot at 40 yards and had 5 out of 9 that would shoot into a 2.5 inch group dead center . The other 4 were hitting 4 inches low and 2 inches left . Started turning vanes and shooting an...

Re: Group Consistency With Phoenix

Sorta thought the cheaper arrows might be some of the problem . Was considering trying some executioner's and seeing if they would give me a little more consistency . My FOC would have to be high with blazers and brass inserts . Is this a common problem with crossbows ?

Well I got a bolt jig and fletched my bolts with blazers and was amazed at how much better my broadheads shot and grouped . I used Bohning blazer bond to glue them on with and was really pleased with how fast and hard it set up . Thanks for everyones help !
