Thanks for the tip (and sharing your wisdom). That's something to try to keep in mind.

Re: Ok, I need all your opinons on this...
About your grinder.....I searched for what seemed like an eternity until I decided on the Cabelas. I feel like it was the right move. Prolly 10 years old now and runs like brand new. The only reason that I got the 1 horse is because it was on sale at the time. Without a doubt the 3/4 would have been...

Re: Excal C2 Crank Pros n Cons
Worth every penny IMHO. I use it more with the stringer and carry it in my backpack in case I have to cock Mo-bad after a shot while in cramped quarters.

I agree with what everyone has said (except for your lady friend )
Good to go. Enjoy and congrats on your success.
You are gonna love your grinder. I got the 1 horse and I wouldn't take love or money for it.

Re: Ever Calm
Bob, thanks for chiming in. My confidence level is rising. I have got a 3 day weekend and I plan to lay to it. Got Mo-bad ready to roll, clothes de-scented, and the Ranger gassed up and loaded. I will put the Ever Calm to the test. Hopefully with this little cool down, them nocturnal suckers will st...

Wabi, I would like to see some pictures of your feeder if you have them handy. I like the cement idea. Thanks for the link, those dump feeders are cool. Prices are good, too. I have a long piece of 14" PVC. With a little fabrication that dump feeder would be ideal. I have a Swinney spin feeder,...

Good deal. I may be wrong, but I think they (Conquest Scents) may be on to something.lscha wrote:I've used it for 2 years. Can't say my success is because of it at all but it's always in my pack.

Re: Ever Calm
The landowner where I hunt uses it and says he has seen good results. The other evening he was snapping pictures of two fawns under his tripod stand (we hung a feeder on the stand and they were eating corn under it). He forgot to turn off the flash and it didn't seem to disturb the fawns at all. Gu...

On a serious note the dang wind swirls so much around here, it will be in your face one minute and at your back the next. I can use all the help th...

Anybody use this stuff? If so, what kind of results did you have? Snake oil?....or legit?.... I ran a search, and it didn't find where it had been kicked around for a while. I admit it, I am a gadget nut :D (sometimes like the one P.T. Barnum spoke of! ) I put some out (Ever Calm Stink Sticks...
