Re: Axiom
I wanted a phoenix last year but couldn't afford it. I also wanted to start with a new bow, so I saved for the last year or so untill I had the funds. I have found over the years it is better to wait and get what you want than to settle for less!! That said the axiom looks cool. It is basically a ph...

Thankfully I live in an area that doesn't look down on you for your choice of "bow"!!
It is a shame that some can't see that as hunters we should all be on the same side!!!

Re: WBH survey results
Rancid,
Sounds to me like you don't like answering questions that don't fit you're argument. Even with a rope cocking aid an archer needs to pull half of the said 175lb pull.
Do you know what 1/2 of 175 is??

Re: WBH survey results
Can you tell me how many pounds an archer has to pull when cocking a 175 lb crossbow? With a crank? With a cocking device? By having his son cock it once for him at the begining of the season? When? hours in advance? You wouldn't be avoiding a perfectly honest question would you Rancid? I've...

Re: Wisconsin Bowhunters association WBA
Rancid, Why is it every time someone from outside WI posts on this thread you question their position in their home range, or why they care about issues in WI??? In case you missed it this forum is on the INTERNET which is WORLDWIDE . Maybe you should start your own forum in WI where you and the res...

Re: Wisconsin Bowhunters association WBA
IF there aren't going to be many more hunters, then where is the fear that crossbows will decimate the deer herd in WI? :?: I thought that license fees were used in game management, therefore wouldn't more license sales overall be a good thing? Maybe attention in WI should turn more towards game man...

I tried them today shooting with my Phoenix and all I can say is wow. They were r...
