Re: String stops

Not to go in another direction, but I think I have a new set of R.E.D.s up at my cabin I'd be willing to sell for a reasonable price.

I'll be getting up there next week if you want me to check.

Re: 440

Has the riser design changed for the 440 or is it a "standard" Matrix/Bulldog riser?

When cocking by hand (rope), was it harder than a 405 or similar to a 405?

Re: Wisconsin 2019 crossbow change in season.

I did see Paul Smith's article and sent him an email about it (I know him from a few of his past articles I was involved with.) The fact is, that there really is no overwhelming outcry over the use of Crossbows in WI other than by the WBA and their frontman Kaz. The deer kill hasn't changed much, th...

Re: Wisconsin 2019 crossbow change in season.

Thanks for the update! This is being driven by Kaz on the NRB in conjunction with the WBA, and they will NEVER give up. We should ALL be worried until he's off the NRB. (And for those that don't know, Kaz runs a large archery shop in SE WI and sells LOTS of crossbows, including Excals. Earlier this ...

Re: 2019 ATA has started (for us)

Thanks, Silly me, I couldn't find it until I looked under shooting accessories

I'm way too spoiled, I was buying my TriggerTechs from Cabelas for $115 when they had them.

Well, look at it this way, enjoying the outdoors is always worth it AND your last years worth of hunting activities pretty much would cover half of my LIFETIME "bucket list"!

I'm  with envy!!!

Re: Lighted Nocks , what do you use?

I started with NuFletch Ignitors, and they are good, but eventually switched to the Lumenok HD Orange.

Super bright, easier to use, no gluing in of an aluminum receiver & slightly lighter.

I've been happy with the switch.

Re: New big foot stirrup

SO, did anyone ever confirm whether the bigfoot stirrup will fit on a Matrix that has airbrakes on it??

I think I've seen the answer is no, but I'd like to confirm.

(Size 13 isn't really THAT big, but with an insulated pac boot, it's more like a size 15!!)

Thank-you kindly everyone for your nice wishes.
Patti and I are celebrating my 55th in Iowa right now.
Being with my love on a Sunshine, Blue Sky Day is all I need, and all I want.
If that's all you need, crate up that Mustang and send it south!!!!

:eusa-whistle:

Happy B-day!
