Re: Aluminum arras???
Another user of Eastons 2219 aluminum arrows. I purchase them at Dunhams Sporting goods here in Michigan for $32 for 6 arrows. Put my 150 grn BoltCutter on the arrow and am good to go. Every deer I shot, the arrow was a complete pass through. Shooting them out of my Axiom.

Re: Nock problems
I had problems when I ordered some arrows with Luminoks nocks. The vanes on the arrows were just a fraction bigger than the vanes on the arrows without the Luminoks, which caused the arrow to sit slightly higher in the track there for not being center with the string when cocked. This caused a semi d...

Re: Compound Crossbows
My main concern with a compound crossbow is a dry fire if the bow is not equipped with an anti dry fire safe guard. Most companies are now making anti dry fire safe guard standard on their upper class bows. Problem is the price for these bows.

Re: buy from amazon
I just bought my nephew an Excalibur Grizzly(brand new) off Ebay last month for $496 with free shipping. Bow was almost completely assembled when delivered. All he had to do was attach the front bow section to the rail. Scope was already mounted. Bow came with a Dead Zone Scope,4 arrows, quiver, rope...

Re: Shooting high and windage off at distance....
Did this just start? Was everything ok prior to this shooting session,or is this the first time shooting this set up? If everything was ok prior to this, then I would think scope may be the problem. If this is the first shooting session, then could have some thing to do with your arrows. Are you shoot...

Re: 20 inch Fire Bolt performance!
Have you actually used a scale to weigh each arrow and each broadhead? Weigh each arrow minus the broadhead, then weigh each broadhead, then weigh each arrow with the broadhead attached and see what you come up with. You may find a weight difference in the arrows,or the broadheads.

Arrow weight difference. Also I'm assuming you're using the same broad heads on both arrows?

Buy your brother a range finder with an arc compensator(Example:The Truth range finder). He will have no excuse for missing the shot.

Re: Rethinking my shot??
Here in Michigan, the law states you cannot retrieve a deer off private property without the consent of the owner of the property. If the owner of the property refuses permission to retrieve the deer,he cannot legally keep the deer for himself even if he has a tag since he did not legally shoot the d...

Re: I need some input
Based on practice and the arrow weight I'm shooting,I zero my scope at the 20 yard cross hair and the other Chevrons(30,40,50) hit pretty much dead on. I also use a range finder to be exact on my yardage when shooting at deer. I have never shot greater than 20 yards. I always place a pumpkin sprayed...

Re: Grunting for Deer
I hunt private property and am limited to the number of deer crossing the property I hunt. 99% of the deer crossing my hunting area, are does. In 30 years of hunting this property only 2 bucks have been shot,a 6 pointer and a 9 pointer which I shot in 1998. Don't misunderstand me when I say only 2 b...

Re: Broadheads made Where?
I buy the Fixed blade Bolt Cutters. I live in Michigan and always see the company G5 advertise on Michigan Out of Doors. They make bows and broad heads(G5 Montek) and several other broadheads. I may give them a try.
