Re: Big Buck Down...M355 Strikes Again!
Beautiful buck Drew! Give me a hint on where abouts you were hunting. I have property in Washtenaw County(Irish Hills),also relatives who have property in Brooklyn,Mi by the MIS Speedway. Those are the type of bucks I see on all the farm lands(private property). Am I close?

Re: Confused newbie with ?s on broadhead wt
I shoot the 150gr BoltCutters out of my Axiom. However,I use Eastons 2219 aluminum arrows. I have never had problems with finding my deer since all shots are complete pass throughs using aluminum arrows. No problems with blood tracking. I have never tried any different broadheads due to the accuracy...

Re: Axiom fair price?
You can go on Ebay and buy them brand new for $419.00. The bows also are fully warranted. I paid $500 for my Axiom 3 years ago from Cabelas.

Praying for positive results for your family member. Sometimes we have to make the tough and heart breaking decision to do whats best and humane for our best friend(s). Hoping you won't have to make that decision until years down the road.

Re: Hoisting a crossbow up to a treestand
I'm shooting the "old" Axiom and attach my rope to the foot stirrup when raising and lowering my bow from the stand. I cock my bow before climbing into my stand but never place an arrow in the bow! Never had an accidental dry fire while raising my bow into my stand. I also carry an arrow w...

Re: Waxed dental floss on serving?
I'm thinking maybe he means he adds the waxed dental floss over the top of his serving(I hope). No way would I use it as a serving.

Re: x-act vs. boltcutters
I use the BoltCutters but use them on aluminum arrows(Easton 2219). Excellent pass throughs on every deer I shot.

Re: Range finder doubling for general uses?
Truthfully, its' primary use is more for range finding. The farther you range an object the less detail you see plus, depending on the display the range finder uses to target the object before it displays the yardage, could also interfere with the view.Unless I planned on using it for hunting during yo...

Re: Diablo lumenock bolts
I have been using 150grn Bolt Cutters on 20" Easton Aluminum arrows(2219). Shooting them out of my Excalibur Axiom and have been getting pass through on deer just under 30 yards. Don't see why you shouldn't try them on your Diablos'. I'm more out for penetration than speed. I believe you should...

Re: 2213?
My question(s) would be what bow are you shooting them with and what would the total weight of the arrow be? What type broadhead would you be shooting, mechanical or fixed? Finding a heavy enough weight mechanical to give the arrow proper weight for the bow being used would be a concern. You could al...

Re: Trouble makers at it again!
I caught a thief stealing equipment out of my ice shanty one night when I went to use the shanty for Crappie fishing. Since I was armed(police officer at the time),I gave the thief the opportunity to do the walk of shame(minus his boots and coat of course) or just have me fill out a report of an att...

Re: Range Finders
I have the Simmons also. Never had a problem with it.Paid an extra $15 for a 3 year extended warranty. The range finder out lasted the extended warranty. The only difference between the Simmons and other range finders is Simmons is a cheaper price, and the Simmons uses a 9 volt battery where as the o...

Re: Challenge complete
Good shooting! Be thankful you can still pull the recurve. Bad shoulder(s) forced me to give up the recurve and go to a compound, and now the crossbow. Hopefully I won't need a cocker but am glad to know it's available if the worst happens. Congrats on the pig...good eating!

Re: easton 2216 vs 2219
I use the Easton 2219's with a 150 grain Bolt Cutter Broadhead.Once I sight in with this arrow and broadhead,I cannot target shoot with carbon arrows. My poi is off and I would have to resight my scope. My only alternative is to sight in using carbon arrows for target shooting then resight using the ...

Re: New member-arrow/broadhead question
Trooper,I use the 150 grain Bolt Cutters broadheads but,use them on 2219 aluminum arrows.I get complete pass throughs on all animals shot. I first start off using the 150 grain field points on the aluminum arrow just to get me sighted in at the 20 yard cross hair.Once I'm sighted in at the 20yard di...
