Re: SWAPPIN PARTS ???

I keep reading forum members swapping parts around on their bows,Just wondering on the matrix series 380 down to the 330 is the only difference in the bows is the power stroke ? The length of the rail? are all the limbs the same or does the 380 and 355 have heavier limbs? Since the m-355 is in my f...

micro limbs on my Matrix 355

Those that know me know I can't stop tinkering with crossbows. I did some rough calculations just for fun. Here we go.. Current Micro specs are. 35.26fps per inch of stroke. 9.5" power stroke equals 335fps. Current Matrix 355 power stroke is 12.5". So if I install the micro limbs on my 355...

Halloween 10 point

Got a call from a buddy last night to party hunt with him & 2 others since I filled my one & only buck tag on Wednesday of this week. This is the same bush that in 2012 I shot my last big buck in so I said "oh ya I'm in"!! Arrived at the stand & settled in for the morning hunt....

Matrix 355 blackout buck

Left the house @ 5:30am for the 1.5hr drive to my ladder stand. Started my walk to my ladder stand & bumped a deer on my way in again. Seems to happen every time I go in the morning. :( Just settled in @ 7:30am & I see a buck in the beans 50yards out. Good to see I didn't spook him. I let ou...

Arrow cutting and squaring

Re: EM Micro 335 Chrono Tests

I had the pleasure of trying a camo micro out yesterday @ Northwoods wholsale in Michigan yesterday. All I can say is it is simply an amazing bow!! Compact is an understatement. That bow is perfectly balanced & cocking effort is really not that bad compared to my Matrix 355. The 16" arrows ...

Re: Excalibur Micro 335

Well, I took my Micro 335 out tonight and sighted in the scope the best I could. I have to use the county forest to practice as I live in town so I used my Cabelas bi-pod. I was shooting within 2" of center out to forty yards. With a good steady rest I am sure it would be more accurate. The tr...

Re: O/T European mounts

Here are my steps for the euro mounts. Preparing the Skull Fresh or frozen skulls with skin and flesh left on them make the best European mounts, as the bone remains more porous, which is easier for cleaning and bleaching. . Make sure you have the right size pot to fit the skull and any antlers for ...
