Firebolt Changes
Installed the Black Eagle 110 grain Brass Inserts in my 20" Firebolt arrows. Using a Nufletch Ignitor lighted nock at 39gr. and a 100 gr. mechanical broadhead. According to my Balance Beam reloading scale that combination weighs in at 479.2gr. As a comparison if using the Excalibur flat front n...

Re: Flower Bed Deer
I neglected to tell her that taking a few deer out of the herd is not really going to totally eliminate her deer problem. There are a lot of deer in this area judging by all the pics I have been getting.

Re: Flower Bed Deer
Now to get the old doe that is very, very, wary and skittish. She spooks everything around her making getting a shot impossible.
Now I know how she got so old and big!!

Re: Unhappy Excalibur Owner
The old long limb bows are pretty much bulletproof.... just saying After this, I may end up dumping the M380 and Micro and go back to my old Exomax. I added an Excalibur ADF to my Exomax and couldn't be happier. I've grown used to it's width/weight and use it with no problems in my Summit Viper tre...

Flower Bed Deer
The Exomax claimed another Button buck this morning. Personally I'm glad they are getting into their garden and flower beds. Keeps me in the deer extermination business!! The land owner told me this morning he wants one more deer for the freezer (gave him two Button bucks already). His gra...

Nice Weather Finally!!
Light rain and cooler temps today. Rain and cooler temps in the forecast this weekend and next week. Will be much nicer sitting in the ground blind!!
I hope it will make the deer change the nocturnal habits they have now.

Re: Unhappy Excalibur Owner
I am very sorry to hear about your limb problems. Excalibur will take care of you but no one wants that kind of hassle let alone during hunting season. I'm sure the Excalibur engineers are hard at work to find a permanent solution and I appreciate their efforts. They are pushing the envelope with so...

Following Orders!!
Killed a little Button buck this morning on the back of my friends 3.5 acre place. Only about 20 to 25 yards from his house. Would of passed on it normally but my friends wife gave me strict orders to kill what ever I saw. Said they have all but destroyed her flower beds and garden. When she saw it ...

Deer Videos
From the back side of my friends property at the end of a Cul De Sac. Taken with a 6mp $25.00 Tasco camera from WalMart. Do you think the little buck and the racoon saw the Red Leds of the cameras flash??? Deer are about 20 yards or less from my Ground Blind. The video of the does was taken at Dusk ...

Re: Firebolt FOC
No ones saying it wont work obviously it does.but with the lighted nock its kinda whimpy in the foc. Dept. Keep it as is for the season but next time you need bolts get some zombies with a 110 grain insert then you will see your groups shrink like it were magic. Honestly they aren't much more money...
