Re: New to Excalibur + Need Broadhead Help
Personally I do not understand why folks think that fieldpoints and broadheads have to shoot the same POI. Some will, others will not. If I pick a broadhead I want to try out and it does not shoot the same POI I simply adjust my scope till the broadheads hit where I want them to. Once hunting season...

I agree with that. My heart shot animals always run farther than my double lung shot animals do.

They all look great and I was undecided at first between W and R. Voted Wenge finally as it just sort of jumps out at me. I like it.

Re: Newby Questions
I also shoot the Vortex with the Firebolts that came in the package. I am using 100 grain fieldtips and am dead on at 20-30-40-50. I plan on trying 100 gr. Swackers this season. If they do not fly right out to 40 yards (my max for hunting) I will use my 100 gr.G5 Montecs cause I already know they do.

Re: Lock n Cable
On one of the other forums I remember someone was having theft problems and bought one of the GPS trackers and inserted it in a ladder stand. The stand was stolen so the tracking unit was activated and the thief was caught redhanded with the stand.

Re: PROBLEM WITH AXIOM STRING
Did you string up the bow or did it come already strung? If already strung up it should have been done correctly by the factory. I know that when I received my Excal the bow was strung and brace height was set on upper mark.
If pre strung I think I would be contacting Excal about it.

Re: S5 question
Keep a credit card or two in width between your string and the S5 bumpers. Do not let them touch and then shoot as it will split the rubber bumpers. I usually keep about a full string width between mine. Reversing the string every now and then will extend the life of the string and serving.

Re: Shooting stick.
I am in NW Ga and expect about 67 at first light and mid to high 80s in the afternoon. I would imagine your club will be 5 or so degrees hotter morning and evening. I might have to hunt in a blind and dread it cause it will be so hot. I am working my repaired shoulder as hard as possible now hoping ...
