Re: Phoenix for Moose
Welcome to the Forum. I'm like the rest of the others buy that deal and shoot a lot and get used to it. The Phoenix won't have any problems killing a Moose just stay away from those large shoulders and shoot a good broadhead that flies with your field points. I would shoot a heavier arrow on a Moose...

My Carbon Express Crossbolts weigh 425.00 grs. with a 100 gr. point and they shoot great. My Gold Tip Lazer 2's weigh 408 grs. with a 100 gr point. I am getting ready to try some Carbon Express Pile Drivers that I am making myself to see how they shoot. Good Luck

A friend of mine used te 125 gr. 2 1/4 in. deer hunting this past year out of his compound bow. He killed 2 does and a squirrel. He didn't get an exit because he hit the shoulder on the opposite side of the deer on both of them but both deer went down in less than 10 yards he was truly amazed with t...

Re: BEST Broadhead with Lite-stuff firebolts ?
Everyone has their own opinion, I just tested 100gr. Magnums Slick Tricks for a fixed blade head they fly great out to 50 yards. I like the Rage 3 blade for a mechanical I have killed 9 deer with them they cut a hugh entry hole and exit.
Good luck with your decision

Re: Crossbow Hunters in North Carolina
Bambikiller Our archery club in N.C. is also a member of NCBA and yes they do frown on crossbows, they fought for many years to keep crossbows illegal in N.C. except for handicap shooters. But 2 years ago they lost that battle and now they are legal in our state. I don't know of an organization in N...
