Re: Excalibur taking a beating.
I AM on Facebook, minimally, but here's a take: For those of my generation who do not, and cannot, comprehend why Facebook exists: I am trying to make friends outside of Facebook while applying the same principles of Facebook. Therefore, every day I walk down the street and tell passers by what I h...

Re: Swat X mags!
From your pic, it seems to have a largish COC component. There have been a lot of broadhead posts on the forum lately with lots of different opinions but i don't recall anyone commenting on a COC or chisel point preference. I don't know anyone who uses a COC head and have no knowledge of their effec...

Re: Just wanna say.....
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I had the surgery 4 years ago and can say that barring complications you will be walking around in no time. Walking however is not the problem. Falling is. And maybe dragging the deer out! Walking on a sidewalk much different than uneven hunting terrain. It’s hard ...

Personally I feel that all deer caught violating baiting laws should be shot.

Re: axe
The AXE is going to kill used bow sales. I have seen used bow asking prices for older Exo bows as high as the Axe retail price.. ;) ....should I sell my A420TD?   ....but i think you are right! Anthony :D Do NOT sell your 420. Buy the axe and have it sent to your brother-i...

Re: Where do you buy your Crossbow accesories ?
Like Anthony, i have made most of my purchases through ebay but when i wasn't happy with the inserts on some arrows i got from wyvern's, david was the BEST to work with. my next bow will be purchased there as a result; wyvern's customer service can't be beat.

Re: Mico 335 Nightmare limb spintering
Goose, one has to remember that the 335 fps that's advertised is the maximum using a 350 gr. arrow . Personally I refuse to use anything under 400gr. with my Excaliburs. I also use a heavier string, since I'm not interested having a "speed demon" crossbow. My main priority is to reduce th...

Re: Mico 335 Nightmare limb spintering
the limb on my son's 335 folded when hunting & i heard it way over in my stand! mine developed a splinter shortly after that so i had my limbs replaced as well. being 2 for 2 does not inspire confidence. anyway, i don't have a chrony but bill miquire told me that my speed would be down to around...

Re: Finally tested my new ACP Trigger
reiny, i was surprised when i had anterior hip replacement by how soon i was walking around feeling antsy at not getting out and doing. always tough to know when to schedule when you go from hunting season to snow & ice season to sugar season to no-snow-get-some-chores-done season. i would recom...

Re: “Thoughts on Sunday Hunting”
We have had Sunday hunting for a number of years in SC. We hunt on Sunday sometimes but many times I don't take an animal because I don't feel like working or hauling it to the processor. Sometimes I just enjoy being in the stand and seeing what's walking around. i think a lot of city hunters who h...
