Mine is the same as Cossacks except maybe a little lighter. It can't be beat for walk and stalk. The only downside is the amount of twigs, seeds, and burrs the string gillies pick up during a stalk.
Happy sneakin,
Hank

Re: scope
If you have newer strings, then it is probably string creep. Check to see if your brace height has changed. If it has changed the add a few twists to the string instead of resighting. Hoping its a simple fix. If not then you've asked your question at the right place. Happy sightin, :D Hank P.s: Make...

Re: Arrow broke during the shot! ??
After a shooting session it is a good idea to flex you shafts to see if there is any cracking. I have found two bad shafts this way. Happy shootin,

Re: Big trail cam visitor
My closest shot to date on a bear was 8 yards. Double lung heart shot. The only reason I backed away after the shot was the wind blowing the arterial spray all over me. Oh, I guess I should mention she was 10 feet up a tree. She was dead when she hit the ground. :D Your bear is at least 350-400 lbs....

18/1 target repair?
Hi all,
My 18/1 is pretty shot up. I was wondering if anyone knows of a product I could inject into it to prolong the life. At this moment I just dont have the cash for a new target. Thanks.

Ok, I'm impressed. Very nice shootin! I hope you don't mind me copying your " jack stand". After all imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Re: Target stuffing materials
The Atlantic Provinces have a company called Parts for Trucks which sells bundles of compressed rags for $18.75. They are 18" by 16" by 6 inches thick. They weigh 25 pounds and are very tightly packed in heavy plastic, so no stuffing required. My matrix 380 shooting 150 grain field points...

Re: Target stuffing materials
I have experimented with many materials in my bag and always go back to packed rags. I love the two finger removal and the fact that my blazers have never touched the bag. It is simply the easiest and cheapest solution. JMHO.

Re: How Far Deer Travel After The Shot
Good read! The biggest point I saw is Muzzy's bad all the rest good. Seriously, it confirms what I believed all along. A proficient hunter hitting the proper impact zone will not have far to go for recovery. Thanks for all your info and effort.

Re: Preventing Meat From Spoiling
I dont really have that problem as most of my game is shot within 400 yards of my house. I am lucky in that I am surrounded by green belts and farm land. As an added bonus, last year a crap load of ringnecked pheasants were released and the mild winter helped the population to explode. I have seen 1...

Re: Opinions please
Exellent replies guys! Matt, your last paragraph was particularly true as I have had rifle shooters and compounders shoot better than me the first time they shot a crossbow. Good shooting form translates across the board from rifles to crossbows. Like you Matt, I sight my bow in the way I hunt, not ...

Re: Cracked limb
I just just got my new limbs last friday for the same problem. The limb splintered last hunting season and I continued to fill my tags with it. Getting replacement limbs took a little less than a month.( crappy Canada Post) No questions asked except for return address. You're in good hands! :D Hank ...
