I always just twist from one end leaving the other attached to the limb. Hope this helps.

I just got my Equinox today and the string is sitting against the stops,but not tight.Should I put a few twists in the string so it seats back 1/8 or wait until I shoot the bow some to see if it stretches and gets tighter against them ?

Would you still need to use the rail lube with the string wax ?
I ordered Ex Cal. wax with my new Equinox,would It be better to use the Dalton's wax ?

I've read allot of reviews on Excalibur crossbows last few days,and I don't think I read about any other crossbow maker that is so well liked...That's what sold me on them...Don't get me wrong,there are allot of other good crossbow makers,but I didn't find any with as many 5 star ratings as Excalibur.

Well I pulled the trigger on a new Equinox with the Lite Stuff package today...I added 6 carbon Firebolt arrows, Stringing Aid, Hard case and 6 Slick Trick Xbow 150 gr. broadheads...That should be all I need for know...Can't wait to get it,site it in and do some hunting.

Thanks for all the replies about broadheads....Also does the Equinox come with the S5 String Shock Suppressor ?

Switched to slick tricks...bad bad medicine!!! 8) :D :D I think I'm going to go with the slick tricks...I was looking at the 150 gr. xbow broadheads...Have you shot these ...

I'm getting ready to buy a Equinox,and was wanting to know if anyone shoots the Muzzy 3 blade 100gr. broadheads with the Firebolt carbon arrows...If so what kind of accuracy are you getting with them.
