There could be some merit to it IF you stray from the recommended shafts-----then you could play with different point wts., fletch, etc. to change the spine but the you get into FOC changes----I just flat don't need to get into all that stuff again :mrgreen:

it's my first-----but was reccommened by a good friend who has had bookoos of different ones---I love it. I can take the reader to site to view or just swap out SD cards to bring home to view & is the smallest cam out there-----smaller than a coke can

That's actually two different bucks, they both are unususual, but one more than the other----he came by at 5 yds, but I let him walk----that time, lol

I have a Vortex as well and noticed the string was reaching to the riser and touching so I put on a set of homemade string stoppers and the slap is reduced somewhat. So your string could be hitting the flat raised section of your riser contributing to the noise you are hearing. Is your string BELOW...
