Re: OT: Why do you kill deer?

Cause I love 'em.

Fried, BBQ'd roasted, sauted, grilled, poached, stewed, burgered, skewered, tartare, sausages, sharing with neighbours and family, enjoying one of the remaining good things in life.

Tom. Just do what I do. Have your purchase shipped to the UPS store in the US and A nearest your location. Zip across the boarder and pick it up. Just smile as you cross.

Re: OT: A Fine & Proper SCARE!

Scary indeed! By now it seems things are being taken care of and the outcome is looking good. Still praying.

Recoil reduction option B. If you can put a pillow between the butt and your shoulder, you'll get a little more 'eye relief'.

Atta boy Tim !!!

Congrats on a great hunt.

That feeling is way worse than staying in bed, and wishing you'd gone hunting.

I'm just addressing tick bites now. Got one on me from around Belleville last week. The Ottawa Public Health Office says use DEET to deter ticks.

Nice fish.
They taste sooo much better when they are fresh.
I like mahi mahi blackened, and tuna raw.

Re: 2016 Buck Hunt

Good read Broadside, and a good hunt.

A hard decision to make, but I'd say you made the right call in following up so well. Some less determined would have just let him walk away. Lessons learned for sure.

Re: Patience Pays !!

Dang, but patience is a virtue isn't it. A very important one.

When all the stars align, it will come to pass. Until then it's a pain in the butt.

Well done Sir, for your success.
